Alma Ettore: Chairperson.
Alma founded Shadeaid in 2007 in order to reach out to some of the most deprived people of her country of origin.
Alma was born in South Sudan. She completed her Secondary School in Catholic Sisters’ School in Khartoum and finished her Higher Education in Cairo University in Egypt.
She is a Senior Physiotherapist in the UK and hopes to complete a course in Defending Human Rights in the next few years.
Alma has always believed that every one should live a life of dignity and peace, hence she is hoping to help some people who have lost out.

Sarah Mcgrath: Secretary General.
Sarah has worked in Education for the last 19 years. Initially working as a teacher leaving her last post as a Deputy head of a secondary school in 2013.
Sarah left teaching to take up a new post as Director of Partnerships in the Education Department (Initial Teacher Education) at Chester University.
She is currently studying for a doctorate with Chester University having previously completed two Masters’ Degrees at Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts and Bristol University.
Her research interests include social and emotional aspects of learning, and leadership and gender.

Cynthia Ettore: Treasurer.
Cynthia, a Student currently finishing her Social Sciences Degree was inspired by her Mother’s idea to set up Shadeaid.
She enjoys her role at Shadeaid, but more importantly, being able to make a difference to the lives of the Orphans and women that Shadeaid is able to help.
